A change question is easier to discuss when it refers to the relevant current policy. Read the whole applicable section rather than relying on a remembered sentence.
Identify whether the question concerns design changes, cancellation, delivery or a reported concern. Open the corresponding policy and note the part that seems relevant. Describe the actual stage of the request and ask for clarification where needed. Keep the inquiry reference with the message.
A request before approved production begins is not automatically the same as a change after work has started. The policy distinguishes stages and circumstances.
Use these prompts to produce a short record you can revisit. Date the sheet, identify the reference you used and leave unknowns explicitly unanswered. Keep site facts, personal preferences and requests for confirmation separate.
This worksheet does not replace the policy or determine legal rights in an individual case. Do not shorten conditions into a blanket promise.
Keep the resulting note with your current brief. Before sending it, check that it explains one decision clearly and does not turn a preference into an agreed detail. Use the current linked page for the relevant website guidance, and bring any piece-specific uncertainty to the atelier.
